Privacy policy
1. Who is responsible for your data
The controller is Kodec Agency, place of business in Puerto Ordaz, Bolívar, Venezuela. For any privacy matter: hello@kodec.agency or WhatsApp.
Kodec is established in Venezuela and works remotely. Where mandatory privacy law in your location applies to a request, those rights remain available in addition to this policy.
2. What we collect and what for
- Audit form: name, business or website, and phone number. Used to answer your request, prepare the diagnosis and follow up on it.
- Email and WhatsApp: whatever you choose to share so we can hold the conversation.
- Server logs: our hosting provider records technical data such as IP address and browser, to serve pages and detect abuse.
We do not ask for special categories of data. This website is not directed to children. We do not use your data to build profiles or to take automated decisions about you.
3. Why we use it
- To answer your request: review the information you submit, prepare an initial diagnosis and contact you about a proposal.
- To operate safely: prevent abuse, diagnose technical problems and keep the website available.
- To meet legal obligations: retain records where accounting, tax or other mandatory rules require it.
- With your permission: only for an additional purpose where we ask you explicitly.
4. Providers and international transfers
The form is processed over HTTPS by Vercel (hosting). When storage is available, the request is stored in Supabase; if storage fails, the website says so and does not confirm receipt. Access is limited to team members who need it to answer your request. We do not sell or rent personal data.
Those providers may process data outside Venezuela under their service and data protection terms. We review those terms when connecting or changing a provider.
You can also contact us by email or WhatsApp instead of using the form. The communication provider you choose will process that conversation under its own privacy terms.
5. Cookies and measurement
This website installs no advertising or third-party tracking cookies, so no consent banner is shown. If we add analytics or advertising that requires consent, we will update this policy and ask permission before enabling non-essential cookies.
6. How long we keep it
- Audit requests that do not become a project: deleted no later than 24 months after the last contact.
- Client records: kept for the duration of the relationship and afterwards for as long as accounting and tax rules require.
- Server logs: kept by our providers for their own retention periods, which are short and technical.
You can ask us to delete earlier, and we will unless a legal obligation requires otherwise.
7. Your rights
Depending on the law that applies to your request, you may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to certain uses. You may withdraw consent where consent is the basis, without affecting earlier processing.
Write to hello@kodec.agency. We respond within the mandatory period that applies and ask only for the identification reasonably needed to protect your data.
8. Questions and complaints
If you think we have handled your data wrongly, tell us first: it is faster and we would rather fix it. You do not have to contact us before using any complaint route available under the law that applies where you live.
9. Security
We use encryption in transit, restricted access and input validation. No system is infallible. If an incident creates a real risk to your data, we will tell you and the relevant authority what happened, within the deadlines that apply.
10. Changes
Changes are published with a date and a version number. Material changes affecting data already collected are communicated before they take effect where required.
